Five album releases. It's been a busy time with scary changes of musical genre let alone juggling clarinet, alto and tenor saxes. A change is said to be as good as a rest so in that respect I'm extremely rested!
An
album that has been a long time in coming is the new Elio Pace album 'A
Seat At My Table'. The album is positively brimmed with his own
songs and is simply
astounding. This album is toe-tappingly explosive and
includes a host of fabulous musicians.
My own album. This has been so long in coming but the time was
finally right. It's a jazz quartet album of standards that echo the
lyricism of days gone by. 'The Sound Of A Dry Martini' is now finished and will be available shortly. Joining me on the CD are Paul Robinson (who played drums for Nina Simone for 15 years), John Coverdale (appeared in the film 'Evita', playing guitar in the tango sequence), Simon Wallace on piano (Alec Dankworth) and Brett Nevill (Clark Tracey) on bass. Andy Dickens (vocal) and Paul Stevenson (guitar) guest on The Nearness Of You. A great bunch of guys who really understand the genre and know how to swing.

'Like This', by legendary guitarist Albert Lee is already out. I, as part of the E.P. Horns guest on two tracks and we have guested with 'Albert Lee and Hogan's Heroes'
at the 100 Club and The Stables in Wavendon. What a pleasure it has
been to make music with Albert and the guys.
Recent gigs have included playing alongside Albert Lee, Huey Lewis, Don Felder, Ronan Keating, Clay Walker and Tico Torres.
