Here are some of my teaching resources which students have found very useful. The subjects that I chose to write about are not only fundamental to a good basic technique, but also cover topics that some teachers without a background in performance would have little knowledge of. They are designed to be used as a supplement to lessons with a teacher.

Fundamentals of Style - starting out in jazz or pop? begin here!

Articulation - the holy grail of sounding great!

Vibrato - for the 'classical' clarinet players.

Performance - how to combat those nerves.

Troubleshooting - (clarinet) squeaks? high notes disasters? try this.

College/Uni - (clarinet) audition requirements etc.

Here are some websites that are interesting and informative:

Jazzwise - books, CD's, DVD's, magazine, free stuff too!

Saxquest - mouthpieces, old saxes, new saxes, loads!

Sax Shed - everything sax and more!

World Wide Sax - mouthpieces, restoration, vintage saxes

Check back often, more to come. Happy blowin'!
